CHRISTMAS: ABAK COUNCIL BOSS FETES CITIZENS …donates gifts items to stakeholders, widows, and the less privileged

In the merry-making spirit of the yuletide season and a bid to mark the year’s Christmas and the coming new year, the Executive Chairman of Abak Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. (Pst.) Ekerette Inyang has embarked on a mass distribution of 50KG bags of rice to the people of Abak including; stakeholders, party stalwarts, widows and the less privileged.

Pastor Inyang who personally supervised the distribution of the NET WT. 50KG bags of Rice at his residence running into millions of naira said the gesture was borne out of his tenacious desire to enable the people celebrate the essence of the season with greater amount of gaiety and sprightliness despite the challenges posed by Covid-19 pandemic which has brought families and nations on their knees.

While urging the people to ensure compliance with all Covid-19 protocols including physical/social distancing and wearing of facemask, Hon. Inyang reassured the people of his avowed committment to usher in more dividends of democracy to improve their well-being and living standard.

Meanwhile, messages of appreciation and prayers for the people oriented Chairman have continued to pour in from beneficiaries and other notable indigenes of Abak.

They described Pastor Ekerette Inyang as a selfless and benevolent leader whose ‘generous act of giving’ is in his blood, upholding that Abak people have continually benefited from Hon. Inyang’s magnanimity even before he became the Minority Leader, Abak Legislative Council.
